I just wanted to extend an opportunity to any of you women that may have an interest in starting your own home based business. One reason I started mine was for tax breaks. I love to empower women and I just wanted to invite anyone along who was interested. Let me start off my stating clearly that I have nothing to gain by inviting any girlfriends to this, I have to pay to attend this event but girlfriends and husbands are free!

September 1st at 7:00 there is going to be a Mary Kay guest event in Escondido, with well known MK National Directors. There will be give aways and the best part is, they will be also giving away 4 starter kits. Anyone interested has the opportunity to start their business FOR FREE! Hey Bridget is it hard to do? like do you have to sell a certain amount each month or are kicked out or do you sell at your own pace? If you dont mind me asking what do you estimate it would cost to start it like with the starter kit and all. Just a few questions I have always been curious I know everyone has feelings that Mary Kay is the older generation of Make up what are your thoughts do you find more younger to mid age people are buying it these days or is clientel mostly older women?

Mk products are awesome. They have been the #1 selling product in the US for 12 years! They have awesome skin care, and great cosmetics as well.

i find it easy. Let me share with you this about me, I work a 40 hour a week job. Im head of the PTC at my kids school, Im on the Governing Council of my childs school as well. I host east County Support group with Pam once a month, and Im a single mom with kids. I find the time to do it, cuz its something I can do for ME. It gives me goals to achieve.
No you dont have to sell a certain amount, it really is a go at your own pace sort of thing. Its nt hte old lady make up either.... I sell it, I use it-you've met me! They have a velocity lined geared to teenagers also, spa collection, etc. Its fabulous and I love it.

Marie: yes peeps do buy the kit or you could keep the kit. The kit is $100 plus S&H and tax, and you get $300 of product in it. Another girlfriend of mine is going to sell just to get her own product cheap and then tax advantage of the tax benes! Lots of possibilites for ladies to come up!

I set a goal for myself to sell 100 lipsticks/lipgloss or liners. I will sell them at $1.00 off each!
