Default Back from surgery in Mexico!

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting for a while. I was the one who was going to INT in Tijuana. Well I am happy to say, that the whole experience was great. They were very personable, knowledgable, and professional. I am feeling good and have had no problems, ( except for the annoying gas left over). I do have a question though. I have liquid vicodin at home. Will this be too acidy to take? If anyone has the answer, please let me know.

Hi there!
Glad you had a good experience!
My doctor prescriped me liquid lortab, which I believe would be similar enough to vicodin, but I am not 100% sure. Someone will know for sure!

Liquid Vicodin was what my surgeon prescribed after surgery up here at Kaiser.

Glad to hear your surgery went well. I have a friend who is going down there for a Lap Band in early December.

Glad to hear all went well. I had Vicodin in tablets after my surgery, which was fine. I assume liquid would be fine too.

Default How long for the swelling and gas to go away?

Hi everyone. Thanks for the help on the liquid med question. It is actually Loritab that I have, so I feel better about that. I have had abdominal surgeries before and know that the gas will disipate with time and so will the swelling, but I feel like I have alot of fluids built up. (The scale shows this) Did it take time for you to see the weight start to come off? How long? It has only been 4 days since surgery.
