So today should be the final appointment with my PCP before we submit for approval to the insurance. I have a meeting with my surgeon's office on Tuesday and that should be the final "checklist" appointment to just confirm that I have done everything.

I am getting SO close and I want to be approved more than anything. I'm just so scared, nervous, anxious...

I really hope that my doc office doesn't take forever to submit and that I hear from the insurance rather quickly. I am tired of my jaw being clenched so tight that it is giving me headaches and I don't think I can handle this constant feeling of wanting to puke much longer!

Hey Annie,

Relax and breathe. These things tend to move at a pace we don't have much control over, and for many of us, that's too slow a pace.

But it's not worth blowing a gasket over. Take this time before surgery (I'm betting you'll get approved) to build up your health to be ready when the time comes.

I just noticed that you and I are really close to the same start point. I bet you will be approved too. Though that doesn't make the waiting easier!

Did you have to do a pre-approval diet? Do you know what your pre-op diet will be like (if there is one?)
