Snide: Expressive of contempt

Condescending: patronizing, to do something that one considers to be below one's dignity, to debase oneself morally, tp act in an undignified, unworthy, or dishonorable way

I can't stand people who will not admit to their actions, you anonymous moron... oh how blind the internet is! Tell me, where, in what thread, have I ever replied as such definitions?

Ah. Well... what can I say? Sometimes people take things in a way that is not how we intended them. I didn't think you were being snarky. I feel certain you didn't mean to be snarky.

I was recently told I was yelling at someone and treating them like a little kid when I pointed out that Slim Fast Optima has 18 grams of sugar in it and said I would dump on that. I certainly didn't mean to yell or treat anyone like a little kid. I was trying to be helpful.

Marella, I have always read your comments and advice with interest and have never, ever seen anything that I took as snide or condescending. Sometimes these Anonymous Morons like to stay anonymous because they are jealous or frightened and haven't the guts to speak up and take the backlash. As far as I'm concerned you just delete the messages from this a**hole and don't dwell on it for one more moment. Your reputation is untarnished here at T.T. and you are well respected for giving current and valid advice. I hope the chicken sh** moron has the courage to come forward, but rather doubt that. Can you tell this has pi**ed me off????? I can't stand people who hide behind the Anonymous label upsetting others and trying to bring someones's name down into the gutter. Wasn't me. I'd admit that right off the bat.

That being said if you want me to be honest with you, I will admit that you seem to come off as "better" than others. Just my opinion, i'm sure you all have your opinions about me. Sometimes I just think you need to simmer it down a bit.

For the record I have about 10 negative reps from the lovely people of TT. Honestly, if you make more of a stink about it... they are getting to you and totally doing what was set out to do; make you look bad. I don't think its reputation abuse, I think that's going a little far with it, however I honestly hate the reputation feature on this forum.

I'm not a fan of the rep. feature but it is there and does have it's uses.

And I agree with both of the reps, to be honest. I found your responses in the first thread uncalled for and dismissive and the response in the second WAS snarky if you ask me.

Why question sherry for offering up googling info as if she's an idiot? She was being kind.

Honestly, I find you offer a lot of welcoming support to the newbies but I do find some of your posts come as if you're looking down your nose.

Now, I never would've said this to you, but since you brought it up. I know that some people find me mean and bitchy at times, but I'm readily able and willing to admit that I am mean and bitchy sometimes.

And I'll leave with this, I don't think this thread is appropriate at all for the forum, but then some people have been telling me it's boring around here. So I guess now it'll be less boring for a day or two till this runs it's course.
