Mistymee,
I do hear ya on how they stretch it out to be ridiculously repetitive and annoying, but I still love it! My 'favorite' part of the show is the nonchalant product placement and how they now have the contestants as actors. 'OH, I THINK WE SHOULD PUT THESE VEGETABLES IN SOME OF THESE ZIP LOCK STEAMER BAGS!' or 'CHEWING THIS SO AND SO GUM REALLY CURBS MY APPETITE!!!' Oh God, I've seen better acting in porn!

LMAO! Too funny. But I did cry when Abby was talking about losing her family. Hits way to close to home. I felt bad for Tracy too. To get that far in the race just to get rushed to the hospital. She seemed like a fighter though so hopefully she will do well when she comes back.

I was totally tearing up over Abby. I hope she does well.
Jillian had me in stitches tonight, though.

It's often repeated on another channel.. Fine living, I think?? Usually on friday or saturday so you might check to see if you can find the beginning episode!

Jillian WAS very 'vocal' last night. I guess using expletives is encouraged these days, that's what it seemed like, anyway! But, boy, she sure does know how to get to people and use what will trigger them. I completely agreed with her when she was talking about Abby at the weigh in. I think I would probably kill myself if anything like that happened to me. I just cannot imagine what Abby has been through. I think I'd be a whole lot bigger than she is!
Did anyone notice the really long and sorry to say, GROSS shots of all of their bellies? I mean, like every other shot was zooming in on the fat hanging over their shorts! If I wanted to see that, I'd watch the show naked! Anyways, I just thought it was kinda wierd. I also noticed that contestants keep getting bigger and bigger, which is basically a really sad commentary on our society...

I just type of long post and it got deleted....of that makes me so mad.
I was saying I don't know what it is about this show that makes me want to watch it so bad. I mean the normal person at home just can't do this...even most of us that have had lap rny. I mean I have only lost 32 lbs in two months. That one guy lost 28 lbs. this week. I know they exercise a lot, but still that is unreal.
I have definitely cried the most over this one than any other. Abby's story is so sad and the firefighter and all them I can so relate to many of them.
I like the fact that they show you the person who get booted off and how they are doing at home. That is really inspiring too. To see that they are doing it at home on their own. I really like that part.
I think it is going to be very interesting with Bob and Jillian training together this season. Jillian really does have a potty mouth...that is for sure. And she really uses some interesting strategies to get people to work. Overall it was a pretty good show. I wonder when that girl that went to the hospital will be back?
