There have been so many people getting approval and surgery dates in a matter of days around here.

I am so happy for you guys....

I just hope they are still saying YES when my crap finally gets turned into them. I am hoping they stay in a good mood!

Anyone have Aetna, by the way???

Hi, I ssoooo know the waiting game!
I have atenea (sp?) as my secondary, don't know if they
got an approval from them too. Just know they say that
they have the approval from my primary.

I've been through the hoops. I started my 6 months
last Nov. ... April, all my dr's work was turned in, as was
my heart dr's approval. During this time, I went to the clinic's
'classes' & saw their dr...I had so many different gals answer
the phone calls I made, they would say, "I can't find your such & such." I'd get in touch of my dr or cardio & ask them to send it 'again'.

Finally one of them gave me the date of Aug. 17th.
I was bummed! But today, well, seems they went through
the files of a couple of girls that 'quit' & called me. Were
upset that I wasn't already done with my surgery & dated
me for next Tues.

So, you never know!

It can change over night!

I have Aetna too. The approval came fast after having the right information. I was assigned a case manager who kept me informed. Think positive and you will be saying "I approval" too. I won't say good luck but God's blessing to you. Let us know when it happens for you.

Thanks for the well wishes....I guess the very first thing i have to do is convince/prove/demonstrate to/show my therapist that I am not CRAZY!!!

I have an appointment on Monday at 6:00pm to retake the Beck's Depression Inventory Test--a 21 questions, pen and paper test and HOPEFULLY....this will be what they need to see for them to "release" me for surgery.

If all goes well, I will take all of my stuff to the surgeon on Tuesday and hopefully it will get submitted RIGHT AWAY and I will be able to post that I am APPROVED too!!!!!!
