Belated Happy Birthday!!
I probably qualify as "one of the older gang" ! haven't been around here for a long time....life just got ridiculously busy - however, this caught my eye and l just wanted to say (belated)HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH -like everyone else on here I owe you so much. In my early days particularly, you helped me out SO many times. I have most of your informative articles photocopied for my file and have even taught my dietician a few things!!
Still got that spare bed over here anytime you feel like a trip Beth!:

Thank you so much for the continued Birthday wishes! It most certainly puts a smile on my face. It's also so good to see some of you "oldies" again.
Sue, glad to hear that things are going well for you. I've wondered about how you were doing. Good job educating your nutritionist. Sometimes we just have to advocate for ourselves and do a bit of education.
Mary, no clothing swaps planned but I'm sure I could find a home for your clothes. I received a bunch of clothes from someone else (noholes) and they went very quickly. My group really appreciated having some clothes. I'm afraid I don't have clothes to swap back, for you but if you want to get them over this way I'm sure I can find a home for them. Good seeing you again.

Oh Amy, it certainly doesn't make your wishes any less sincere just because they came a few days after my actual birthday. My day was quiet but nice. When you get to be my age just a nice quiet evening with my family is enough for me.
I do have an exciting year ahead with my daughter's wedding. I can tell you that I am just enjoying life and that is enough of a present for me.
Hope to see you in a few weeks. I would love it if you could make it up for the meeting.
