Default WLS Comedy of Errors

It was kind of a rough day so I thought I'd share...

First, it is time for a protein shake, so I go in the kitchen to make one and see some sugar free vanilla pudding. I think "hmm...my chocolate protein powder might be good mixed with that." So i proceed to mix the two. I take a taste and my first thought is "this kinda tastes like cake batter! I can handle that." (there was a slight aftertaste, so cake batter mixed with dirt, perhaps, is a better description). At any rate, I take a couple tastes and I'm liking it ok. Then on the 4th or 5th taste (little tiny spoonfuls) I am thinking it is just WAY too sweet. So I decide to cut it with some water. I take another taste and BLECH! I feel like if I have anymore I will surely yak! So that gets dumped.

Next, I decide I better just mix the powder with water and not try to be fancy. So I grab my blender bottle (second time using) and proceed to mix water and powder. I shake it a little and then I turn to walk out of the kitchen, shaking the bottle (obviously) a bit harder. Well, the cap was not on tight enough (obviously) and I had protein shake ALL over the place: kitchen floor, living room floor, stove, refrigerater, cat, myself. Everything within about a 10 foot radius got it. So i stop and clean the mess up and wonder what else could go wrong!

Well, wouldn't you know, these things happen in threes! After the whole shake incident, it's time to get back to sipping some water. My daugher had just made a pitcher of crystal light, so I decide that is what I will have. So I take the pitcher out and swing around to the counter and swoosh....crystal light all over the floor! She had not turned the lid off the open part, so it just flew right out!!

At this point, I am looking around for a camera or something cuz it was just ridiculous!! But no cameras in sight. I just laughed at myself and went to my room where things are soft and fluffy and I can't hurt myself as easily!

Feel free to laugh at me or with me or share your story!! Hijacking ok, too....

Sweet sweet NikkiJo,

A woman after my own heart. I did smile only because those are usually MY days.
