Default Hernia and a tummy tuck

Had my one year appointment today and all is great with the weight loss and labs. I am at 97% of my ideal weight. So far so good.
Have this bump on my left lower abdomen that I had the doctor check and he said I have a hernia....I kinda figured so. In talking to him I asked about a tummy tuck at the time of the hernia surgery because the hernia is down on my bikini line(no I don't wear bikinis but that is where it is at He said that a lot of insurance companies will actually pay for a tummy tuck when coupled with a needed hernia surgery. WOW! I am a little skeptical but hopeful. Have any of you had this experience or know of anyone who was able to get a virtually free tummy tuck?
Keep your fingers crossed for me this would be sooooo AWESOME!

I was able to get mine covered...I have tricare. They covered it 100%...I diddn't pay a penny. I was in the hospital 2 nights, had two hernias repaired with mesh and a tummy tuck. My doc removed 11lbs of skin from me and I am so happy with the results! Best of luck to ya! Hope it works out! If you have more specific questions please pm me!

Ford.....I'm not even close to have a tummy tuck. I'm sorry that I can't help you.

But I do wish you well! Take care.
