Talking Last minute picnic details.....

Okay folks, 2 days til we mingle. Remember to bring your dish , chairs and own drinks. I havent had any word from anybody volunteering to bring utencils so please make sure you bring enough for your family and a few extras if you can spare them. I will bring extra serving utencils as well. Also, if you have an extra fold out table and can afford the room could you please bring it? It would be appreciated!! I am so excited! Any questions?

Default Knives and Forks and Spoons, Oh My!!!

Hello Bridget
Regarding the lack of utensils for our soiree (BTW, I did manage to get Sunday off), I think that I might have some left over from my last desert trip. I will check in the garage when I get home from work and post message. In fact, if I don't have any I will buy what we need and bring them on Sunday. I also have some plates so I will bring those too. Anyway, it looks like our problem is solved. See ya on Sunday!

Bridget,
I just arrived home from work and went searching through my garage for plastic utensils and such and I found a whole bunch of stuff. I have plenty (depending on the size of the crowd) of knives, forks, spoons, plates, and napkins. I will also bring salt and pepper shakers. Now I just need to figure out what food to bring. In the old days it would have been my famous Chicken Enchilada Casserole with a Tomatillo, Sour Cream, and Chipoltle Pepper Sauce. Did I forget to mention that this boy can (or did) cook?? Now my cooking consists of high-protein healthy dishes or pre-packaged soy-based products. Oh, the sacrafices one makes for health, happiness, and hot babes!! Please let me know if there is anything I can do or bring.

Make the enchiladas and we'll just dig out the centers Chicken, cheese, and sour cream sounds like protein products to me.

Looking forward to the picnic tomorrow.

I am bringing a 5 layer bean dip and tortilla chips (for those that can handle them! ) I think I will go get some cheap watermelon at Henry's too.

What else are people bringing???

Default I've changed my mind...

I'm not bringing chili anymore. I couldn't find a good recipe. So instead, I'm bringing egg salad. (Made with 1/2 low fat mayo and 1/2 low fat sour cream. It's to die for!) I hope no one was looking forward to the chili.

Default Carpool

I know this is probably a little late, but if anyone in the Vista/Oceanside area wants to carpool to the picnic, please let me know. I am willing to drive and I can fit a total of four people in my little Acura. Post or email me and I will email you back with my phone number...I feel a little apprehensive posting my phone number in an open forum.
