Nope she is 8 and her dream is for us to buy her a hose. I have been thinking of maybe getting her involved with 4H. She wants to be a vet. She does have a virtual horse she cares for

That would definatley be a start and it would teach her so much, the 4H. My daughter has a horse but she also has a virtual one too. Mine started riding at 10 when she joined a Mounted Drill Team. I always wanted a horse and I didn't get my first one until I was 39 It's never too late. lol.

melissa- your horse has a special gait doesnt he? like a tennesse walker kind of>?
i would love to see some video of him~

I love to ride and would love to own a horse. My husband used to be a cattle farmer and laughs at me and calls me "City Girl". Maybe when my kids are older and I dont have so much driving to do I will move to the country. Right now I spend hours a day in my van driving three kids to/from several different sports.

Yep he does. My first horse was a Tennesse Walker. I have a bad back so I ride gaited horses so I don't bounce. Here is a couple of videos. The swinging out of the front legs is a breed trademark they call Termino. Best thing I ever did was move to the country and having horses is therapuetic.

My instructor on him (because I hate video of me)
YouTube - Cindy riding Amante

and him at liberty (excuse the baby talk)

I have several horses, mules, and donkeys but I only have a picture of my horse Lilly and Kajun the paint (RIP). I also have a dog an australian shepard named Dixie. Sorry about the picture of me on Lilly but I always get a picture so I can compare to before surgery. It truely is amazing the difference. I am mainly a lurker on here. Forgot to add that my family trail rides when the weather permits and my oldest daughter who is 9 has her own horse and is taking lessons on my aunts horse to show her.
