The Bachelor
I'm sitting here waiting for the Bachelor to come on... been waiting all week. Isn't it silly how we let ourselves get so rapped up in a tv show. Anyways, it usually comes on here at 7 but the President is on so it threw it back an hour until 8.
Who do you think he will send home tonight??
I think Naomi

I didn't see the previews for next week! TELL ME PLEASE TELL ME!!!
I was/am a bit worried for Melissa - I think it's going to hurt in the long run her family not meeting him.
I have a new found love for Jillian though. I loved her at the beginning but then she sorta faded away and now she is back. I think either of them would be great for J - Molly- not so much.

Don't worry about Melissa, she's not going anywhere. Jillian leaves next and Molly and Melissa will be the last two.
DeAnna is supposed to come back next week and tell him that she made a mistake. Boo Hoo! Who flies halfway across the world to tell someone they made a mistake publicly like that.

You speak as though you might know something I don't know. I have hope for her because he always talks about how perfect she is. I love Mel.

OK, so m not a big TV guy, so I watch some of this last night, (some because I couldnt watch the whole thing!!).
How does a guy go out with a woman 6 maybe 8 times, and while doing that he is also dinkiing with a few other women, ask her to marry him, Im I old fashion, or how does he really get to know a woman in this short of time, and how much feelings do the women really have for the real "person", instead of his bank account?
I would have to spend a lot more "one on one" time with someone, go the places I like to go, and vise versa, do the things I like to do and also vise versa, meet my friends, spend quality time holding, hugging, and then the most important times...when things are not all rosey, how do you pick each other up? Way too many things that cant be done on a fricken TV show!! The list is endless, but the biggie is the sex...not being a pig, but that is important, not the first time "all is grand" sex, but the rest of it.
Damn it I hate being old!!!!
Probably a good thing I wont be a candidate for this show!!!

I know what you're saying Baja, but you just gotta look at it as a tv show, just like all the other ridiculous crap that's out there. If you start looking too closely, you'll think about all that stuff you just mentioned. Yeah, the situation they are in right now is the furthest thing from real life, so how are they really gonna act when they're not taking helicopter rides, but scrounging to pay the bills. Oh yeah, he's not rich, I think you maybe intertwining the millionaire show and this one. He's just a normal guy, but still, I get your point. And he doesn't have to ask anyone to marry him, he can walk away empty handed if he wants, although I think the producers probably discorage that! I used to hate the show too till I actually watched one and just took it as mindless entertainment!

OH, forgot to mention that wow, you're right, next week is gonna be crazy! I didn't think he'd get so upset about Deanna, thought he'd just be like, 'Whatever, you lost your chance, bitch!', but he was really crying!
I still think my girl Melissa goes all the way, still can't stand Jill, although her family is hilarious. Molly is pretty cool, but don't think she wins!

I think I figured out last night why Deanna is coming back. I think she is going to tell him he made a mistake by sending Stephanie home. I was kind of glad to see naomi go last night. I hope that he keeps Jillian though til the end! I like her.

Oh now that would be awesome! I really never loved Deanna last season- I sorta thought she was stuck on herself.
Baja- I get what you are saying. He is just an average guy though- and while they don't get to experience all the things you are speaking of on the show- there is no deadline for them to get married. This is just a dating game basically where at the end the show gives J a gigantor ring for him to use if he so chooses. There have been cases where no one was chosen. It's all just ratings really - but in the meantime I do really believe that connections are made with people - look at Trista and Ryan - they were really genuinely happy to have found each other.
