Yeah, I've told him. I think he was a little surprised at first when I said I was 330. He's a big, tall guy and he's overweight too. So now I tell him how much I weigh and how much I've lost almost every week.

It is sort of freeing to not be ashamed of it, to know that it is changing, to know that it doesn't matter because he still loves me and it actually helps because he wants to support me.

I still weigh more than him, but now we are in a race to see who can get to 215 first before our wedding.

Marina hon you and I are about the same size. you are 2 inches taller than me. until very recently when I spent a couple of days in the hospital my husband didn't know how much I weighed. I was at 215 in the hospital. I guess I am considered lightweight also but with our height and body build we still are overweight. like you I should not be over the 110 either. I am sending in my paperwork as soon as I get my full body shot to send in. we can do this hon!

I've been fortunate that my husband has been my best friend, biggest supporter, and love of my life in the (almost) three years we've been together. He knows how much I weigh. He loves me anyways. He will be going through the surgery himself in a few months, but until then he's trying to be as understanding and helpful as possible. I have found that confiding in each other about our greatest fears and worries is what keeps us close and supportive.

I've been married to my husband for 21 years and until I had surgery he had no idea how much I weighed. I think the surgery liberates us. I personally no longer cares who knows what I weigh... if they couldn't look at me and tell I was very fat then they needed glasses.

My wife never knew prior to me making the decision to having the surgery... but she knew the stress I was under and all the problems it caused in my life. Once I decided to have the surgery, she was aware of everything. I figured if I wanted her unconditional support, then I could at least share everything with her.
