You can either draw a card from deck or pick up last card played on your turn (oh forgot to mention, your cards have to be the same suit). For example... i have a 10 clubs a 3 clubs and a 10 hearts, my total is 13. If you think you have the highest points or at least not the lowest you knock on the table, before you take your turn (you can not draw a card if you are knocking) each player gets one more time around. If you knocked and are the lowest point value, you lose 2 quarters, otherwise the lowest in points puts one quarter in the middle. At anytime during play that you get a total point value of 31 you lay your cards down and every player except you has to put a quarter in. You get to lose your three quarters and one round called a floater round once you lose the floater round your out of the game. The person that has money remaining or is still floating, wins the Pot. Its fun and a fast pased game, we have played with dollars too, but gets expensive since we may play 5 or 6 games a night. ANyone thats interested or have any questions just ask... lol wasn't aiming to explain the whole game, but oh well.

I love Rook also.
Love the game knock.

If you like card games, look up the directions online to a game called Hand and Foot. It takes a good while to play, but is a LOT of fun. It takes multiple decks of cards, either 5 or 6, can not remember off the top of my head, but it is easy to learn and a great game for pairs!

Default There is one...

Here's a link to a card game with the rudest name ever... but it's lots of fun... you can play it for money or not, and I've found over the years that you can play it no matter how.... um.... incapacitated people get. I've played with as many as 20 people around a table, because only one card per player is necessary...

I don't know that I have any favorites as far as board games go. But I love the card game Phase 10. It's a blast....especially when you have multiple players and you "gang" up on the winner to try to get them to lose!

I also like the dice game "Bullshit" (there are other names for it too I believe).
But each player gets 6 dice and a cup. To start each player rolls one die and whoever has the highest # goes first and play proceeds to the left.
Each player rolls thier dice in thier cup and then turns the cup upside down on the table. Players may peek at thier own dice but must keep them covered from other players. Player one then makes a determination as to how many of a certain die there are on the table in all. Like, 5 1's and then the next player must either say "bullshit" if they don't think there are that many 1's or "up" the last player's bid by saying something along the lines of 6 1's or 5 2's. You cannot "bid down".

If someone says "bullshit" than everyone must reveal thier dice and see if the last bid called was a correct assumption and if so the person who said bullshit will lose one die and the next round begins OR if that person was right than the last person to make a "bid" loses one of his die and it's put into the
"discard" pile.

The object of the game if to be the last person with a die.

There's better instructions on the net for this I am sure.....but I just couldn't find them.

It's a blast to play with your friends and family.....try it and have fun!
