Default 1st Surgiversary- pics with New Haircut!

So, today is my 1st Surgiversary- I'm still down only (only?? yeah, Only) 127.5 lbs.. I went and had my hair done at a salon... the girl did a nice job, if I do say so. The day was going real well until I got home and everything that can go wrong has, since then..

One nice thing while I was out, I stopped at the bank to change over my account to my married name, new address and turns out the girl who was helping me with this also had RNY a year ago and we got to talking.. (I gave her the website and my home number).. I hope she joins in (Hi J, if you're reading!).. she's having similar issues with her weight stalling that I'm having..

Once I got home, well, the calls started..I won't bother with the details..hopefully tomorrow things can be worked out..

Here's the picture:

You look awesome Kel, and I absolutely love the new hair...it makes you look younger too!

Your hair looks so thick. Did you lose much at all? I'm jealous, and I wanna trade my 1/2 bald head for yours.

Thanks Ladies.... particularly the compliment on the color as I do that myself It's one of those kits where you put the main color on, then do the highlights on the top layer. It came out kind of interesting, now that I have layers in my hair- I really kind of like how it came out! I had to get a perm, believe it or not, since I have The.Straightest.Hair.Ever. (The Native American in me, I guess?)

The girl who did my hair was the cutest little fresh faced 19 y/o but I thought she did a bang up job particularly when I said I'd like the hair cut like the actresses Holland Taylor or Lisa Rinna and she just looked at me with question marks in her eyes, LOL. Man, I'm so old!

Sherry, my hair is actually quite thin... the girl permed my hair then cut it, blew it dry then curled the ends up.. she also said she had some 'magical' stuff that pumps up thin hair and swears by it. I think she was trying to sell it to me, but I splurged on the perm/cut (since I normally cut it myself).

If you look at the front faced pictures, you'll see how high my forehead is, and how thin it is.. she had to cut extra deep bangs to bring some forward, so as to disguise how thin it really is.

Moniram- yes, I know that 127.5 is good... just since I lost 100 of them in six months.. 27.5 is the second six months is a bit of a disappointment, overall. I want collar bones, for pete sake, already! lol
