Well we all got together tonight and had a great time at Alex's Place...an intimate roadside restaurant in Batavia, New York. We had good conversation and good food and just really enjoyed being able to meet face to face.

It really is wonderful what computers allow us to do nowadays...connect in ways we never would have before. Suzanne and Vicki took a lot more pictures that I hope they'll post so that you can see more of our event!

I really appreciate everybody driving in...let's make this a frequent event! (With even more people added in!) Wonderful to meet you all!

John and I keep talking about driving out there - it is a little complicated, but I am sure we'll make it one of these days. Who knows - set up the next one and if you hear a really loud car long before you see it, it could be us.

Oh we want to - it is just a heck of a drive to go out for dinner. Yahoo says 5 1/2 hours, so we'd make it in less than 4, but still.

We sure did have a great time and thanks to Mike for organizing everything! I am happy to say I have some pics and will post them in the next few days, especially the one of me in my leather bustier with no jacket on - that one was taken especially for Deb/Godblessedme - she requested pics so she's getting pics.

Mike is also fairly modest in that he arranged a wonderfully fun trivia game all about the TT forum and we had a great time playing it.

Once again, thanks to Mike, and thanks to everyone who came out. I was very pleased to meet and talk with everyone and my bf loved talking with DaveNY, both of them being former pilots.

I'd like to thank Mike again for arranging this. He brought some prizes for us that we got by answering trivia questions relating to the forum. He also put together CDs for all of us of his favorite workout music. That was really sweet and thoughtful and we all appreciated it.

It was nice meeting everyone. The day was special for me because it was my birthday. So nice to spend it with new friends as I embark on my new life. I enjoyed the conversation, great advice and stories from everyone.
