On the phone with Julie as I write this. She is still fighting the Staph infection and her surgeon had decided that they will need to go back in tommorow morning at 7:30 to remove the mesh from the hernia repair and will probably be leaving her open for a while to faciltate the draining.
She is hurting and tired of all this but she is still in good spirits and really appreciates knowing how many people on here are thinking of her and sending good thoughts. In the middle of all this is is all concerned about how everyone else is doing.
She promised to have her mom call me tommorow after the surgery and as soon as I know something I will pass it on. I know others are talking to her as well so if I got any of this wrong please feel free to correct me.

What a shame she has to go through this. The RNY road is not always a smooth one. My thoughts are with her.

Surgery to leave her open probably means another surgery to close her up later. How terrible. I can't even compare how I'm doing with that. She must be a real trouper. I'll keep her in my prayers.
