Default Halloween...What to do?

I generally give out candy in my complex on Halloween and there are a lot of kids. However, since I will be a little more than 1 month post op on Halloween, it doesn't seem like a good idea, or even right to pass out candy again. Anyone have any ideas for alternative items to hand out?

People in my neighbor hood pass out caprisuns to the kids and bottled water for the adults. Cause they always forget to take one with them. They also hand out fruit snacks. You can get a box of 40 for like $7.00 or so at costco or sams club. Just a couple of ideas.

oh just hand out the candy...

don't punish the lil kids! we hated the houses who gave us like, pretzels or popcorn. Sorry but it's true. Just because you buy it, doesnt mean you have to eat it!!!

Hmmm, we've given out bags of microwave popcorn (unpopped!) for years... the kids LOVE it. Seriously, they go nuts...

"OMG! WOW! Mom, look! A whole bag of popcorn!!"

Pencils, tattoos, bubbles, plastic Halloween treats... all from Wal*Mart at about $2.00 a bag at about 20 in a bag. It ends up being no more expensive than giving out candy. I do it every year. This year they have little bags with 20 bottles of bubbles in them. I am giving out those for something different. We usually do the pencils though for most holidays. I know at my daughters school parties they want store bought everything, in sealed packages. Every class has some kids with allergies. I hate having kids being left out. So with my pencils, tattoos, bubbles, stickers, or penny toys.... everyone gets to join in the fun!

I'm not gonna punish the kids in my neighborhood because of my big butt...they get Candy and sometimes little toys too...I make sure all the candy goes with the kids, or my son has to hide the remainder of it from me...candy is my weakness...
