Default Size THREE? What???

My goal was to be in a size 6. After all, I was a 3X. A size 6 sounded reasonable, but way out there in my mind.

Okay, so I got to my six, and I was happy.

And then the size 6 stuff got BIG, really BIG. Okay, so I went to a 4. Small enough.

The problem was that I am not curvy - I'm kinda straight up and down, so I thought I might try a size 5, especially in pants.

Good, a size 5 works better than a 4 (which was too wide in the hips).

Since the pants are low rise, after a while I could remove them without evening unbuttoning them or unzipping them! Too big.

I am now a size 3. A petite small top. Who wudda thunk?????

Fabulotsatic Claire!

As long as you FEEL healthy, nimble, agile and comfortable in yourself physically and that others are not worrying that they are going to lose you down the bath plughole, go for it! Absolutely wonderful news and may you live in the 3-4 size happily ever after!
So great news indeed and I cannot wait to see the cruise photos with you in them!
Have you incidentally changed your style of dress, colours, accents? Wear more of one kind of garment than ever before?
Well done Claire! You are such an eternal inspiration!
Hugs,
Vim

Thank you so much for your lovely warm wishes and comments, Vim!

No, I'm not too thin. There has been no one who has said I am too thin. And I feel very well at this weight/size.

I think that one has a personal style, and mine was totally different p re-op than it is now. Not much in the way of choices when you are a 3x. However now I am finding my own groove. And my measure of that groove is that when I put something on and it feels just great, I know that it is a good addition to my personal style. I wear bigger earrings now that my face is smaller, less jewelry on my arms and around my neck. Jeans of every color and description, low rise (some skinny, some boot style, some straight leg). Its great fun!

Wow, that's awesome! When were you that size before? What age? I am wondering if I might end up smaller than I have ever been as an adult, maybe since highschool? What about you?
