I jst got the call from my doc, i tested positive for h-pylori and my blood showed im a pre diabetic.. very sad day for me

Merf, the H-pylori is so treatable. It is just a round of antibiotics and some Prevacid. As far as pre diabetic, that is something that most of us who are overweight run the risk of, and adult onset diabetes is so very treatable with the bypass. So it is not so bad and even insulin diabetics do well with the surgery, some getting off all diabetic drugs completely and others down to just oral meds.

Yep...doing blood it came up positive...did the regiment of meds..never felt so sick to my stomach...but like the one person said, never had to be retested, because i treated the problem. They also said that you will probably always test positive.

i just picked up the meds for both issues.. holy crap you have to take alot of pills for that h-pylori. 8 pills total a day, 4 in the morning and 4 in the evening. crazy. i went for no pils a month ago to 11 pills daily, WTF!

i tested positive for H Pylori from a blood test. had to do the 3 meds, and retest via the breath test a month later and then i got cleared for surgery.
