Talking My WOW Moment (long)

So pre-op I wore a size 28 pants and 26/28-30/32 top. Well I am going to a wedding Oct.10th so I bought a dress about 2 weeks ago at Lane Bryant. I bought the 26/28. Well as of yesterday I have lost probaly another 10 lbs or so since I bought the dress. I told my Mom I better go get a 22/24 just in case. I came home, tried it on, and it fit. It was very comfortable. I am hoping I dont have to try to get a smaller size before the wedding cause the dress is marked down and may not be available. I cant wait for everyone to see me at the wedding. I have dropped over 30 lbs since I have last seen all of them in July. Also, I have 2 pairs of jeans in a size 24. I could get them on a few weeks ago but they were to snug in the waist although I did get them buttoned. I kept saying "Ok just another 10 lbs and they will be fine". Well more than 10 lbs have flown by and when I tried them on my mom thought they were to big. They fit in the waist but the butt and thighs are too big and are kinda looking sloppy. I was kind of bummed cause I have been waiting to get into these jeans and now I just may have to get rid of them without wearing them agian. But on the other hand, I am loving my new smaller body even though I still have a long way to go. I went shopping in my closet and everything in there fits me. I have not worn alot of the stuff in at least a year. Ok I will quit rambling now.

Default Me too!

Girl....the same thing happened to me just last week. I had 3 pair of khaki slacks that were too little a few weeks ago. Now they're all but too big. I wore a pair to work Thursday and had to borrow a safety pin to take them in! I missed my window of opportunity just like you. It's amazing how fast this happens isn't it!

But don't it feel good!!!

Oh...One last thing.....My stretch pants don't have to stretch anymore LOL!
I never thought stretch pants could be too big.....they just hang there!

Just be prepared when you experience the "I didn't even lose weight and still my pants got too big!"...even though you may not lose actual weight...your body changes!

Here's to many more "WOW" moments!!

Awesome wow Ronnette. Congrats isn't it a great feeling when clothes are getting too big and not too tight. There will be many more to come, enjoy them all.

Yes Cassie, it is a WONDERFUL feeling. I tried some jeans on last night that I have not worn in over 10 years. And then they were only worn 1-2 times so they are still new. Anyways, I got them on and buttoned but were still snug in the waist. I told my hubby " Well I am not gonna say in another 10 lbs these will fit cause look what happened last time I said that, it went so fast that now they are to big." So I think I will just suffer with the little bit of tightness and just start wearing them.
