If you want to talk about thyroide, TSH and Syntroid, you found the right girl in me!!!

I think I have seen it all in my 9 years since meeting my "friend" the thyroid gland and its disorders...
I would go for the lower dosage probably... Depends how hyper you are... What is your TSH level? The ideal should be between 1-3... Some people are more stable than others. My mom went 10 years without an abnormal TSH and meds ajustment. Me, I think the longest I was stable for was 1 1/2 year. I had 2 pregnancies that didn't help in the mean time as well...
Last January, I went from a TSH level of 2.9 to 9 in less then a month, with no change in meds.

That put me in Hypo and I was just stabilized at a TSH of 3 before surgery, beginning of september...
Yesterday I saw the doc that has been treating me since the beginning and he wants to draw blood every 4 weeks for at least the next year.
