Default Bad Pains!!!

Ok, For The Past Couple Of Days My Hips At The Joint And My Back Is Killing Me. I Am Ok As Long As I Do Nothing But As Soon As I Start Walking I Feel Like My Hips Are Popping Out. I Think My Back Hurts Because I Am Trying To Compensate For The Hips When Walking. We Went To A Chile And Frijole Festival (god The Smells Of That Food Cooking And Chiles Roasting Drove Me Insane) Yesterday And Last Night I Could Barely Lay Down On Either Of My Sides. Any Suggestions?

If you find out what causes that, please let me know. I have been having pains in my hip joints too! They started about 2 weeks ago, and I keep thinking they will go away, but they don't. I can't sleep on them now.

They seem to get better as the day goes on. But the back thing is irritating.

Greetings Izan and Grandma Rose...

Have you had a bone density test yet?

My family doctor made me have one as part of my GBS (she said a lot of women have problems with calcium after the surgery)... we were both shocked to find out that all my bones/joints were find except for my hip bones/joints- very bad condition for someone my age.

My doctor thinks its because I basically lived off of diet carbonated drinks for the past 15 years--that they leach the calcium out of your bones, particularly hip... She said they are just starting to see more and more of this from women my age (51) and younger...

It's just one more thing to have checked out......

No You Can't. Please Take Your Calcium. My Blood Work Was Horrible, I Cant Take The Pills They Just Get Stuck And I Vomit For Days. And Make Sure Your Calcium Is Calcium Citrate, With Magnesium And Vit D Added. It Is Very Important. I Am Trying To Find Some That I Can Take Before It Is Too Late, If It Isn't Already.

I'm not the best at taking vitamins, they gag me...the calcium pill, I cant handle..I dont take it, honestly.

I have to do something tho, my hair is falling out again and I ache in my bones..wonder if it's related?

So glad you brought this up, not glad you are suffering, but I'd have never thought of this on my own....

Default Im surprised

I really am surprised to see how many of you are not taking your suppliments! Yeeks! I fill my pill sorters once a week, Im religious with my vitamins/suppliments and my protein drink. Also, I gave up my coffee because I want to take good care of my pouch and I had read about someone having ulcers and Im not taking chances. I take a pepcid every night as well as part of my regime per doctors orders.

Now about the hip. About a year ago I went through some bad pain like this. I could barely move my leg, I woke up crying in middle of the night and my hubby ran to wally world and picked up a heating pad which helped alot. The pain was completely gone in couple days, never knew what it was.

MONEY IN THE BANK TO DATE......$3920
This is the running amount of money saved by not having to spend so much eating out. Number based on spending $20 a day on food. And that very conservative!!!

Mom..this is ridiculous, go to any drug store, buy a cheap pill splitter, i paid like 5 bucks for one, yoiu can split a pill many times to make them as small as you want to make them easy to get down, they work great, regardless, take the dam pills......someone here used a grinder, to powder the pills, they were easy to get down.

I chew my daily vits, taste like crap, but chase them with a little H2O, and Im good to go.
