my best friend from high school was on the first season! (Kelly MacFarland) and ya know i feel for her because she has gained most of her weight back. I think the show is AWESOME but i think it builds them up then when the show is over (a year or more ) later they start to go the same way again

I have watched the show from the beginning. The people on it have always given me the "I can do it" attitude about things that I did not think I could when it came to exercise.

I have always wondered what happens with contestants that are not in the spotlight anymore. There are only a few they do regular follow ups on. I have always thought it was great that they could do this in a short period of time without surgery..but the long term is not talked about.
