O' well. Im so disgusted I dont know what to do. As some of you know Im on Medicaid. Im a 38 year old nurse on Medicaid. I never thought I would ever have to resort to that but things happen in our lives that put us in situations that we never could imagine. Today, I received a call from the hospital with a time to arrive for my surgery. They actually called me twice today with different times. Thats no big deal......Im having to rely on a transportation company provided by medicaid to get me to the hospital. When I called them today to confirm my transportation, they said my appointment was never booked. WHAT? I called and booked my ride Monday. WHy was is not booked? Someone messed up and now with gas prices going through the roof, thanks to IKE, I don't know if I can come up with the gas money for a 3 hour trip. My uncle has given us his truck, we only need to put gas in it. Lord please give me the strength. I hope that my family can come together and help me. I really hate to have to reschedule and wat another 3 months.........All I can do is cry, Now I wondering if this is a sign. If I walk to Charleston am I gonna die during my surgery, is it not ment to be? ugh.................

You know I feel where you are comming from when you talk about signs. I kept trying to look at everything as some sort of sign. But in reality, if we paid heed to every sign that we could interput some way or another we would never get out of bed. The sign was when you got approved, the sign (like the most knowledgeble Mike told me) is when you look into the mirror. Hon, your sign however hard it might be too see right now is to do everything possible to get yourself to the hospital Monday morning.

I hope that your family can pull through for you. I know you do not want to postpone this. I wish that I lived closer, so I could lend a helping hand. I know how it is to live paycheck to paycheck and struggle to get by. Please let me know if there is anyway I can help.

wow what an awful circumstance, but in the end thats what family is for.. im sure they will come together. You already have the truck ,40-50 dolars for gas wont be hard to get after that.. i wish all the luck in the world!

OMG girl i'm praying with you, i agree with Big that you can do it, borrow borrow borrow, God didnt bring you this far into / close to your surgery to not provide a way there you can do it

This is just a thought...

Do you have anything you can sell, pawn? Do you have a paypal account? I don't have alot but would chip in a couple gallons of gas. I know how important this surgery is, how life changing. Where theres a will theres a way. hugssssss girl.
