thank you for the kind words, I really believe we are doing the right thing with the war on terror. If we dont act on this we will fall victim to another 9/11. God bless our SOLDIERS and god bless AMERICA !!!
Everyone should take a moment today and think about all the fallen soldiers, police officers and firemen, and incocent people who lost their lives as result of the war or the day of 9/11. Pray for them and their families and NEVER FORGET !!!!!

Well said. This is probably one of the most touching things I've read today.
Godspeed to those poor souls...

I will never forget that day.
My Dad woke me up in a frenzy ... I crawled out of bed half asleep not understanding a word he said. I sat with him in front of the tv. 10 seconds later I saw the second plane hit. Live. Saw it with my own eyes. I started crying. Immediately started crying my eyes out. I didn't understand what was happening. But I understood that I just witnessed many people die.
I will never forget that day.

This was a terrible day for our country. I watched it all on television. My husband had gone to town and I was really worried about him. I had surgery six days before this happened so I was home for it all.
Since that horrible day, September 11, has become not only a day to pay tribute to those who lost their lives; it is also my great-nephew's birthday. He is turned one today. So now I have a good memory for September 11, too!

I am a military spouse and as my husband always says he would rather bring the war to them than for them to bring it to us as they did on this day 7 yrs ago. I hate wars and I hate my hubby deploying But its the price you pay just as police officers, and fire fighters do also, just they dont deploy overseas. I pray for all of the lives lost that day and wish well for their surviving families. God bless~~
P.S. My husband appeciates your comment Wendel We need more support for our troops!

Getting ready for work that day I thought my son, 7 at the time, was joking. We were in Colorado, catching the end of the local news before we got the tape delay version of Good Morning America... My husband had surgery the next morning. The two days he was in ICU I spent by his side watching TV in disbelief. My in-laws were visiting family in NY, suppose to be sight-seeing in that area that morning but a mechanical issue kept them from going out that morning. The hours it took to get ahold of them that day was terrible.
I grew up a military brat and have to agree with what has already said...Better to take it to them than have it going on in our backdoor. Our men and women in uniform that are putting their lives on the line for us each and every day need to be commended. They are making sacrifices for us day and night. Thank you, all of you.
