Suprising WOW moment!!! - ThinnerTimes

As many of you know, I am now raising my ten year old granddaughter, Krystal. She attends a school that requires school uniforms.

We drove over to Mervyn's and joined the crowd searching through piles of shirts, pants, and sweaters. We picked out sets of uniforms for five days and decided to go ahead and buy a couple of sweaters now. (they are gone by the time it gets a little chilly)

At the sweater rack they had both lightweight and heavy weight cardigans. I love the heavier ones and have always had a problem finding suitable ones. I looked at them and thought what the heck........Krystal's eyes opened wide in surprise/shock as I put on a GIRLS size 18 and it fit! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry or both! I bought both types of sweaters and by golly, I'm going back to the girls dept to see what else fits! (cheaper prices there!)

Now I can't wait to be cold enough to wear it to work....just to show my co-workers the inside label which clearly shouts out GIRLS!

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful wow moment. It made me melt inside. I don't think I could wait for cooler temps, I would have to take it to work and show it off. Just turn the temp of the air conditoner cooler, and have Sweater Day!

Thank you all for the wonderful replies. This journey keeps me in awe of the fantastic ways this tool keeps working...like the Energizer Bunny...on and on and on.

If anyone had told me I'd be able to fit into a girl's sweater this time next year I think I'd laugh my head off. Now, I still can't believe it and actually grab the sweater off the hanger, put it on and look in the mirror.

To anyone contemplating surgery the wow moments you read on this forum are testiments that this tool works!

BO (Before Obesity), I used to shop at the Saks Fifth Avenue girls' department -- I got the Saks label without the Saks price!

Good for you! And it gives me hope that I'll be able to return to my BO ways!

What a great wow moment - you deserve it, you've worked so hard - must have been a real thrill!

I just went before school shopping with my daughters today and in one of their 'teen/tween' stores tried on a plaid skirt ... I took sizes XL, L, and M into the dressing room thinking 'hey, it's not an adult store' and I was shocked to say the Medium fit and a bit loose in the stomach to boot.. it was a real rush!
