OT building a patio
A friend of mine wants to construct a patio cover and needs someone that can draw up plans for a patio cover. Can anyone help or point us in the right direction? Thanks!

Check at Home Depot. They have ton's of "do it yourself" books filled with projects. You might find some plans there. Oh yeah, try searching the 'net as well.
It will be expensive if you have blueprints drawn up. Then you have to deal with city permits and all that stuff. Doing it yourself will save a ton of money!
Good Luck!

Love you Bridge! Here's the deal... we need to pull a permit for our patio cover that my husband is building. He already drew up the plans one time, but the city guy said they were "unnacceptable". Hubby can build the Taj Mahal, but can't draw a stick man! I need to find someone to help draw up the plans... you'd think that would be easy wouldn't you? LOL We want to have a huge housewarming party in July, and need to get this done by then so y'all can come visit!

A dear friend of ours is an architect. I'll private e-mail you his information. I do know that he's really busy all the time, but maybe he could help you draw up what you need.
