I was thinking of doing a wedding blog for family & friends to track updates, post photos and whatnot for Geof's and my wedding but I've never really done a real blog before.

I don't even know which blogging site I should try? Ideas for an easy site to use for a newbie blogger? Tips? Suggestions? Examples?

Anything? I need help!

Hi Kel,

There are many out there, but these three are about the easiest to use:

- Blogspot
- Easy Journal
- WordPress

I use Blogspot ( Landoffisher ) and you can visit if you want to see what it's like. It's even easier to use if you have a gmail account so that you can access all of Google's featured products as a Google user. (such as Google Photos / Picasa) If you need an invite to gmail or technical help, PM me!

Thanks Mike.. I had considered blogspot.. but I use my gmail account for my UseNet nick.. and never the 'twain shall meet...

Perhaps I'll send myself an invite, LOL..

I wasn't sure if that one was the easiest to use.. I've never really blogged before.

If you use gmail...then the setup is halfway done for you. Google is so connected now and all the extraneous tools you might use, whether you thought of them or not, are all connected to Blogspot through google. Just makes things even easier, in my opinion.

There is also Livejournal...but blogspot is MUCH easier to use. I reccommend blogspot. Everybody has a blogspot

Well, I did a blogspot.. lol... It doesn't have much yet.. but here is the link:

I'm hoping he'll add stuff too, though I don't know.. I didn't exactly consult him before I did it

(wanted to ask.. am I limited to the Fonts they show or is there a way to do some other font.. I really wanted something with a 'script' style.. more formal for the heading)
