Default Mean Ol' Pistachios!

Does anyone else have a terribly VIOLENT reaction to those yummy little pistachio nuts?? I love them to death but they literally hate me. The day after I eat them, they, well, let's just say they take a quick, painful, southern exit.

This might not have anything to do with my new pouch, but I wanted to see if it's only me.

I'm with Tooty...I mean Toony. LOL..Pisastios give me fierce gas problems. But I was that way with them before surgery too. I was hoping that side effect would have changed, but it didn't.

Yum, I love pistachios, and they don't bother me at all. I never eat many though...I usually count out 15-16 of them. They help me over my salty, crunchy cravings...plus they take a long time to eat.

Have you guys tried dry roasted edamame? They're dried soy beans...honestly, they taste better than they sound! They're super high in protein (13 grams for a 1/4 cup I think), plus soy products are very good for your heart.

I have never been allowed nuts per my nut, but I do eat them. I just try to be careful and not eat alot. They are high in fat, calories so that is why I was told no even though the protein is good. Apples I believe when you are able to go to regular food, but I get upset tummy with apples themselves as do alot of people. Its the natural sugars I think. Although I do ok with a 3 oz cup of apple juice. HMM, now that I think of it I wonder why.
