i think we will be one the dirty side. but i don't think it will be any big deal. everyone here is starting to panic. you would think living here your whole life you would be used to this. we aren't going anywhere. we didn't leave with rita or katrina we aren't leaving now. and my grass needs to rain. i'm looking forward to it.

This will be our first tropical storm/hurricane since we moved here after Katrina/Rita! I am a little apprehensive since we live 20 miles from shore but my house is built up so Im not in a flood plain. The neighborhood behind me now is a different story -- they will have water in their houses before midnight I am sure!

DH isnt lookingforward to the rain- he has to drive up near 290/BW8 for work everyday. I am looking forward to the power going out and spending the day in bed tomorrow and not having to work! LOL

I live in Kingwood and work downtown. I'm not looking forward to driving down 59 with a tropical storm going on. I might work from home tomorrow, if our office is even open.

Well, I live in Humble (between Kingwood and Houston).

I work on the Southwest side of Houston a couple of days a week, but thankfully, Tuesdays are one of the 5 days I work from my recording studio (take a left turn when I leave my bedroom, walk 3 steps and I'm at work).

I will decide in the morning if I will take the day off tomorrow, (hard rain is too noisy for recordings, and power outages are not good for the computer system).

I hate to miss it though... This is my first full day back in the studio since surgery, and I am a bit backed up.

Oh well.. we need the rain.
