Ok So I Have Had The Iv Out Of My Hand For 6 Days Now And It Still Feels Like It Is There. You Know The Flimsy Part That Goes In, I Can Feel It Exactly Like It Was Still There In My Hand. This Was My 3rd Iv During Visit, And That Last Morning The Nurse Had Said Lets Just Cap It Off And See What Docs Say And Then Came In An Hour Later And Said Oh Sorry We Have To Run The Antibiotics. So Without Slowing Flushing First, She Just Ran The Iv. It Started Burning Like Hell And Even Though It Was Not Swelling, It Was Burning. She Said I Would Be Fine, But If I Wanted She Could Put In Another Iv. Well I Of Course Said No, But Now Wondering If I Should Have. I Hit My Hand On The Dresser A Few Minutes Ago And Now It Is Really Killing Me. The Spot At The Bend Of My Elbow Where The First Iv Went In Is Still Swollen Also, Has A Lump In It And Little Pains, If I Rub It, It Will Feel Better Some, But Then Bruises Up For 6 To 8 Hours. Any Suggestions????
