Yes Zen, you have totally been there for us and we appreciate it so much. John and I are trying to settle in and doing well for the most part. House is a little crazy as my x took half of it out the door with him. We're cleaning and rearraning but mostly, it is trying to get the kids used to the "new guy" who is much more involved than they are used to.

I must say, it is amazing to have a partner. Doesn't hurt that he's cute as a button either! Thanks for all the well wishes - it is the craziest story I've ever heard, but if we can make this work, let no one ever doubt the power of love!

Leaving you family doesn't mean that you are never going to speak to them or see them, it just means that when you do get together it will be a really wonderful time of rejoicing.
It was so hard for me to leave my family but the good part was when they quit coming by to borrow money, my car, or bitch and gripe about another family member.
It will be great!!!! Congratulations to both of you!
