MONEY IN THE BANK TO DATE......$3920
This is the running amount of money saved by not having to spend so much eating out. Number based on spending $20 a day on food. And that very conservative!!!

Default Clearing it all up for you

Yes, John is here to stay. We are in agreement that we are both totally insane, but I think its harder for him right now as he is leaving his whole family, home city etc. Transplanting is tough, but I'm trying to take good care of him. We'll keep you updated.

And Mike - what casino are you talking about?

Life is good, but not always seamless.

August 12th will mark three years since I moved back home to NY after living in Seattle for 21 years. I moved back here to start a life with my high school sweetheart. We made a connection again about 5 years ago online. Suffice it to say that all has worked out well.

Those few days before I moved were among the most heady of my life. I sold everything that I owned that wouldn't fit in a box, and shipped everything else. My life was reduced to 19 boxes of crap.

I asked myself a buncha questions. Was I making the right decision? Was I crazy? Would it all work out? What the hell was I doing????? It was exhilarating and totally frightening all at the same time. So hard to leave my friends and family behind...and so great to be moving forward to my new life and love. Oh, and did I mention that I had a panic attack that was mistaken for a heat attack the week before I left? It was such an insane time of my life.

Good luck to you both...it'll all work out exactly the way it's supposed to.

Default Go with your gut. It won't let you down.

John, I don't know you but I've seen a bit of your progress toward the end.

You said a key WORD that resonated from experience. GUT.

I could go on longer, but I'd rather sum it up briefly: IN LIFE WE HAVE TO GO WITH OUR GUT. IT DOESN'T LIE.

There's something that changes after WLS. Our gut. I've seen that when our gut is operated on, and altered drastically, that our gut becomes piped into our mind more. It becomes a STRONG voice. I learned this the hard one way time, and it took a couple more lessons of not listening to my gut after that, before I finally learned: LISTEN TO YOUR GUT.

It knows something our minds can't quite logically define, but it does speak to us. We just have to listen and heed it. In spite of the logic that may not be fully visible at the moment...

But at some point the logic of that gut instinct becomes visible.
