Default And the Award goes to...

I'm now four months post-up, approaching five on August 12. I've lost 63 lbs thus far on my Journey and I am so grateful for the so many things/people that have supported me...so I wanted to share what I was grateful for with all of you. Maybe some of you can share too. =)

1. I am grateful for my hunny bunny (husband) for continually telling how beautiful he has always thought and continues to think I am.
2. I am grateful for my Magic Bullet…my protein shakes wouldn’t be anywhere as easy to make.
3. I am grateful for my nutritionist, who never takes my sh*t ever and tells it to me like it is, even if I think an extra 15 minutes of cardio a session will surely kill me.
4. I am grateful for my exercise partner, who’s always there by my side even when she would rather be in bed.
5. I am grateful for my job, which gives me the stability to drink my 64 oz of water a day and keep my eating schedule.
6. I am grateful for my personal trainer, for being so easy on the eyes, for telling me my hair still looks good even though it doesn’t after my workouts…and, especially, for reminding me every time I see him how proud of me he is.
7. I am grateful for my mp3 player, which keeps me dancing and positive when I’m blue.
8. I am grateful for my mom, just because, in the so many ways she supports me, I feel blessed.
9. Lastly, I am grateful to Wendy’s, Starbucks and Kashi for providing food that makes my body, soul and tummy happy!

WOWEE…I can’t ever complain after I read that. I hope all of you feel as blessed as I do!

What a cool thread.

Most of what I'd say would just repeat the ones already posted, but I'll add these:

*I'm grateful for lactose free cheddar and pepper jack cheese. Thank you Cabot!
*I'm grateful for my surgeon, who had the skill to "fix" me.
*I'm grateful for all of the wonderful people on TT who have helped to educate/support me over the last several months.
*I'm grateful to the 4C company, who makes a version of "Crystal Light" that is sweetened with Splenda instead of Equal.
*I'm grateful to the restaurants out there that let me pay a child's price for a buffet when I show them my WLS restaurant card. (Boo on Golden Corral for not accepting it.)
*I'm super grateful that I can already fit into XL pants and tops now...22W and 2x sizes were getting tight before!
*I'm grateful that I held on to my "skinny clothes", which are mostly XL's and L's. I can now shop from my closet, instead of having to buy all new things which wouldn't fit anyway in a few weeks. (I'm donating my "fat" clothes though...I don't EVER want to wear those again! )
*I'm grateful to my wonderful support group leader.

OKay, Okay ... my turn!!!

I AM GRATEFUL ...

That strangers don't point and laugh at me

That my sister is now fatter than me

For all the new and exciting "positions" I can get into

That I still actually enjoy refried beans and cheese

That my bras no longer cut into my back fat

That my butt no longer eats my panties

That nobody calls me Shamu when I swim in a public place

That I can now wear my "Memeber's Only" jacket and look cool

That I can have my Picachu waxed without fear of causing the tech. to vomit

That nobody has noticed I'm going bald

And that I can walk right past Lane Bryant and fart in their general direction

Okay ... Your Turn!!!

OMG Julie, you have me in tears rolling on the floor right now. My husbands computer is right next to mine and he is like "what is wrong with you." The first one he read, was the last one.
You are awesome! Thanks for making this a great read!

I'm totally laughing right now!

Sometimes I just feel the need to shake things up a little.

And I have one more to add:

I'm grateful I no longer need the "Jaws of Life" and a mirror to see my girlie parts

Here's my $0.02:

I am grateful:

1. That I can now clip my own toenails.

2. That I can bend over to pick something up from the floor without gasping for breath.

3. That I can get the seatbelt to latch around me.

4. That clothes I had from thinner times are beginning to fit again.

5. For my wife who is so supportful.

6. that my shoes are begining to be lose on me.

7. That I have moved from 7-8XL to 4XL.

8. For beautiful days like today.

9. For my family that has all (well, almost all) been so supportive of my decision.

10 That I can clean most of my hard to reach spots that I couldn't reach before.

Ten is enough. I could go on for hours, so I'll let someone else chime in.

Thanks! and Great Lists!
