I too want to see Mama Mia... I saw Batman last night with my son. Heath Ledger was brilliant as the Joker. Great movie! It was long... almost 3 hours... but we loved it!

I would have been disappointed too! They are 2 completely different movies. If you are thinking you are seeing Batman I can see where Mamma Mia would be a crushing blow.
I saw them both and can not even do a comparison because they are such different movie genre's. Batman is probably one of the best movies of the year. My husband and I go every weekend to the movies and I have seen many but Heath Ledger is awesome. I am sure he will win an Oscar for this role.

Call me a girly-girl, but Batman was dark and disturbing, while I loved Mamma Mia, for exactly whatit is, a feel good, light hearted good time!
So much keeps you smiling, including the terrible voice of Peirce Brosnan, the hilarious antics of the older ladies, the beauty of the young and what about the scenery of the amazing Greek Isle?
Loved it, and not afraid to admit it!!!

I loved it also. Infact I would go see it again if giving the chance. Everyone in the movie was clapping and cheering and laughing. It was a feel good little movie. LOVED the music. Heck there was even some men in there that clapped after the movie was over.

Regarding Toony's comment about Christine Baranski's collarbones, here's a recent photo of her -- and her collarbones ARE sorta weird!
'thann (who is still searching for her own collarbones!)

Loved the film for sheer upbeat entertainment,
disliked the collarbones and Pierce Brosnan's singing!
Best of all, had a good "mother & daughter" time and
drank half of my day's water intake during the film!
Cheers!

good job 'thann! Those collar bones --- the points on the shoulders bugged me big time... sort of like door knobs!
Yes, Pierce's voice was ridiculous - there must be a handsome actor his age who can actually sing! LOL! That and his hairy belly... Loved the actress who played Rosie... she made the show for me!
Still glad I saw it... humming the tunes as I type!
