Default Need good vibes!

I just got home from a job interview and I really want this job!!

As a Marine Corps wife, I have always taken an interest in the Marines and their families, and have worked over the years as a Key Volunteer in many capacities, working with the commands in support of the families. The military equivalent to what I have done is called a Family Readiness Officer ("FRO"). The Marine Corps is now changing the FRO positions to civilian government contractors.

I just interviewed for a FRO position with one of the F-18 squadrons here at the base my hubby works at. I had one rough moment in the interview where I got totally tongue tied in front of the panel of 5 interviewers, but think I pulled it out okay, even doing well on my powerpoint presentation that I had to do. They are going to make a decision this afternoon or tomorrow at the latest and I am praying that I get this job.

Your prayers, good thoughts, etc., would be totally appreciated. I have thought long and hard since I lost my job last month and I believe this position is where I'm supposed to be and what I'm supposed to do to make a difference.

Fingers crossed for you and prayers sent your way.
Nerve wracking until you hear!
Do let us know too how it went!
If you don't get it, try and find out why so that you may "improve" that aspect for another time.
But here's hoping strongly you get what you want - you seem to have thought things through carefully enough!
Cheers,
Vim
