I'm doing my best to follow those rules... just having a touch of weakness issues probably from the blood loss. I walked 4 times today I believe and have been doing pretty well keeping up with the one ounce an hour water requirement.
I think I'll be getting to come home tomorrow on Friday or maybe Saturday. I'll just have to wait and see. As far as I'm concerned I'd rather be at home if the doc thinks I'm able! The pain meds here are strong enough that I can hardly stay awake with eyes open for more than 10 minutes at a stretch yet the atmosphere is different enough from home that I can't sleep for more than 30 minutes in a row either.

Welcome to the loser's bench, Angel!!!! I'm so glad to hear you are doing well enough to move out of ICU. Thank you for posting and letting us know how things were going. I've been wondering how your surgery went. Make sure you walk, rest and sip....you'll be heading home before you know it.

Welcome to the other side
And enjoy the drugs, your body needs for you to check out right now and sleep. Keep up the great work, and brace yourself: hell week is around the corner and then you'll be "in like Flynn" girl.
