Picnic Flyer
I Have Gotten Some Feedback From Some Folks About A Day... Let Me Know How This Works For You... Flyer Is Attatched. Shoot Even If It's A Few Of Us, That's Still Good Right? Perhaps We Can Do These Once A Month Inbetween Support Group Meetings...
THE ONLY THING MISSING IS WHERE TO HAVE THE PICNINC... THE FIRST PERSON WITH ANY IDEA ON WHERE TO HAVE IT, WINS!

Bridget:
The picnic is a wonderful idea. Your flyer is very cute too. However, where will the picnic be held?

I live in Tierrasanta, so I can pretty much go anywhere. I think that Balboa Park might be the most centralized location. But, does anyone know if it's really crowded on the weekends? I haven't actually been to Balboa Park for a picnic for years and years. We need to decide something soon. Maybe you should just decide for us, Bridget.

Welp...I hope I can make it. I am out of town right now so I don't know if my calendar is clear that day. Sounds like a lot of fun though!

The best place...
I have to agree that by the playground at Balboa Park is just EXCELLENT!! (My parents live just across the street and I can go drop the kids off...LOL)
We are talking the playground along 6th Ave right?? There is a decent amount of parking on the weekends that early in the afternoon. Not to mention there are so many side streets and parallel streets. AND NO PARKING METERS! LOL
You can count me and my two kids in at least, and I think I'll make some chili. (I had some Wendy's chili for lunch and now I have chili on the brain...LOL) I may bring two or four other people, and I'll ask my sister if she wants to come and bring her three kids...LOL
PARTY PARTY PARTY!!!

Picnic on Sunday!
Yea for Sunday!!! My mother called this morning, said she was flying in on Sunday afternoon, I told her "nope, can't do that, we have a picnic to go to, and she has to be there too", so, she had my sister change her flight till Saturday!! I really wanted her to meet everyone, and there's not going to be any post op support groups while she's here, so, the picnic is going to be the only time that can happen.
Are we to bring our own food, or food to share? Our own drinks, or drinks for all...
lawn chairs, or are there picnic tables? Are we grilling, or bringing prepared food?
Too many questions? Sorry!! LOL
One more.... Is there shade?
