I'm only 3 months out and can't handle the bread yet. But I don't seem to miss it too much. I get the sandwich and use the bread as a handle and peel away as I eat the insides.

One of my favorite meals is a grilled cheese sandwich (1/2) and some tomato soup, that seems to agree with my diet about as good as anything. Maybe it is because of the butter on the bread and then grilling it in a skillet. I don't like dry toast nearly as much.
