Default Sort of off topic, but good for a laugh

Just a little background for those of you who don't know me: I haven't had my surgery yet. Due to my excess weight, it's sometimes painful for me to get up, walk around etc. I also recently hurt a muscle in my back. I'm sure most of you can relate.

Anyway, I have an African Grey parrot who is pretty smart. Lately she's been making this sound--I wish I could record it--which is an imitation of me. When she learns new words or sounds, she says them all the time. So now she makes this aahow (kind of a combination of aw and ow,). At first I couldn't figure out why she was making this sound. Well, I make the same sound whenever I get up, climb the stairs, or do something strenous. She is mocking me!

She also used to burp when she saw me. I don't do that a lot but thought it was funny anyway. Now she gives me the raspberries when she sees me. It's a short toot. She also tells my husband to take a shower and she asks me if I sold the car. I'm sure she'll come up with something new when I'm thinner. She'll probably keep up the 'ahwow' sound for a while, especially after I get my surgery. She has an extensive vocabulary, and she curses when anyone in our house gets upset.

I work from home and hear this kind of stuff all day. It's a laugh a minute around my house. It keeps me young and lets me find some humor with my condition. LMAO!
