Let's have a picnic!
What do you guys think about having a picnic July 9th or 10th? we can all get together and celebrate US!!!!! Let me know what you think, we could do a sign up sheet and have like a potluck or something. That why our families could come too and we can all have a good time! I hope you guys are interested....

That sounds like fun Bridget!!! I know that John and I will need something to ease the tension, as I'll be going in the next night at midnight, and my Mother will be here from Idaho, I'd LOVE her to meet everyone, and see how magnificent this surgery really works and to show her that there really is food after surgery!!  |

Cool beans... a picnic, it's on
Now we decide which date, and time. Is Sunday afternoon good for folks? Say about 1:00, just in time for lunch? What would be a good park half way between eat county and Poway? Balboa Park? Is that okay... or Tecolote Park at the bay.... I like the thought of Tecolote....
Email me.. I will create a flier and we can all distribute it... as well as post it here... let me know what's up guys. We can share all the new recipes and stuff.. it will be good.

Sunday is good for me as I will be out of town on Saturday RIDING ROLLERCOASTERS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS WITHOUT FEAR!!!

Okay lets get this party started
Sunday sound good to everybody? Now what about location.. playground a must... water is optional. Any ideas? I like Tecolote park, but parking can be challenging there... c'mon guys help a wls sista out
** * For those of y'all who dont like to cook or want to cook.. you can bring the ice, charcoal, water and teas..... or any other good drinks we can enjoy.. I figure we can bring a dish and then bring meat if ya wanted.. unless you just want to do the dish thing? Let me know... I'll bring veggies and ranch dip!! yum!

I like it...
I like the idea...but we'll have to choose a place that is more or less 1/2 way between the north county people and the south/east county people. I would drive 1/2 way around the world to meet everyone from this forum!! Are we going to be able to bring our kids?? I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old, so maybe a place with a playground or somewhere that's suited for children of all ages. My parents live right along 6th Ave in Balboa Park and there is PLENTY of grass space and a cool playground. Lots of shade and a good deal of parking (if we do have this around 1PM). JUST A THOUGHT!
