Default Jim and SWMBO Update

If at all possible, June has been crazier than May or April. I have spent so little time here with my friends and miss you all like crazy. Lurking at best.

SWMBO is doing famously. Down 75 pounds and healthy. Easy fit into a 14 and an occasional 12. Down from a size 22-24. Her fibromyalgia is better, cholesterol down, migraines have been non-existent. The activity and everything about life seems to be rosy and good. She is a little over 4 months out and Dr White says he will consider her a success if she is 180 to 195 (12 pounds away) final weight. Sandy wants 165.

She is leaving for Albany, New York on Sunday, spending time seeing our Son and old friends and I will join her on July 3.

As for myself, still traveling like crazy. Getting pretty freaking tired of living in hotels. 3-4 days per week in a hotel is really hampering the returned desires in the marriage bed (if you know what I mean). THe last 2 weeks I have been in Cedar Rapids doing flood recovery. Cedar Rapids again next week, followed by New York July 3-12. The rest of July should be spent at home closing out deal and making some bonuses.

Health and blood are great. CPAP and Sleep Apnea is gone. I mean gone. Blood Pressure is perfect. Weight 273 down 165 and I just celebrated my 7 months post op. I just purchased pants that were 20 inches smaller in the waist than my highest, easily fit in to XL shirts (down from a 5X) and can even fit into some larges.

I am playing golf and softball again. I hooked up with the local Mizuno Sales reps recently, talked to them about my story and they are completely outfitting me with new pro-level softball gear (Bat, Shoes, Shirts, etc.) and as I start playing tournament softball again, may be telling my story.

Life is again coming so fast. No longer living in the moroseness of Morbid Obesity, but just living. It is happening to all of us. Just living, comfortably, exercising, and.....living. Day to day, hour to hour. As my friend Shereeks said and Gwen quoted, "I love this life", and I now add, Man, I really love this life!

Glad to hear you're both doing so well Jim. I too am getting very little time to do much moe than lurk occassionally, but love to catch up on your progress. Isn't it great when you're no longer MORBIDLY obese? I just crossed that threshold last week and it does feel fabulous.

Can't help but get a warm, fizzy feeling when I read about the two of you Jim - you're both making the most of this.

I'm really looking forward to meeting you both on our cruise. Hugs to you both.
