WOO HOO!! So glad to hear that Motrin has been put away. Now don't haul it out again to use unless you have some kind of protectant like Prilosec. You hear??? You heard what the doc said about using NSAIDs and how often they see ulcers when they scope. You need to keep that pouch of yours all nice and healthy!

Default Yes Mom

I truly don't take anything. It's a very rare ocassion when I do, it has to be a really bad headache or body ache before I do. The only thing I can think of was the infection prolonged the pain, that and it got into my sinus too. Hopefully tomorrows filling won't re-aggrivate it. If I do have to take something I will take it very sparingly. Would nexium be okay or what did you recommend? I'll have to go back and look. Anyway, I'll just hope for the best tomorrow and go from there.

Deborah:

Thanks for thinking of me. I won't hear about my date until sometime Thursday. I guess that's when they make the phone calls to do the scheduling, but as soon as I get a date I'll let you all know. (Feel like a pre-op/newbie)lol..waiting on my date and all. So as soon as I know.....

Sharon

Well it's certainly been an interesting couple of weeks. June 20th I had that nasty wisdom tooth pulled. Monday, June 23 I was back at the oral surgeon's due to an infection. When he pulled the wisdom tooth it also left a hole in my sinus passage, so I was put on antibiotics. Friday, June 27th, I went to G.R. to see a baratric doctor (MiladyB "Beth's" doctor) regarding sclerotherapy. Yesterday while brushing my teeth a piece of my molar in front of the wisdom tooth that was just pulled fell into the sink. So off to my dentist today to have that repaired.

The good new is he was able to repair it, the sinus has finally closed and I don't have to take the antibiotic any more. So I'm good to go. Yay! So now I'm just waiting for Thursday for my date for the sclero.

Ahhh, life's good, no motrin, no antibiotics, no wisdom tooth problems, broken tooth fixed and now the possibility of fixing my broken pouch. I ask ya what more could a girl ask for? Don't answer that! *L*. I'll let ya all know what they say on Thursday.

Sharon

I'd almost bet money on it that Beth & Sharon went to Panera for their meal --- Beth's and my Chevy only know one place to go after our support group.

hehehe...yes, miss judy. You know me well. Hey where else would my car take us after being at MMPC!! You know how much my car loves the Panera parking lot!! Especially when its there spending time with your little Chevy!

Sharon, the nexium would be ok. It should help. So if you need to take more Motrin plllleeeeaaaassseeeee take the Nexium too. I know you don't take the Motrin often but you heard Dr Baker. He has had patients who have developed ulcers after only 2 doses! So, honestly even a rare dose, without a protectant has the potential of causing a problem. I just want that pouch of yours to remain nice and healthy.

Let me know what you hear tomorrow. I would like to try to make sure I'm off from work in case your DH wants company or in case you would like me there at all. It's totally your call.
