Default Ah, yeah, if you were skinny once...

GOOD POINT and it hadn't occurred to me...
Thank you Cici, this helps with all the mindf*cking going on in my head about my weight and the "need" to gain and my body stubbornly being at a certain weight, etc.

I WAS skinny as a rail as a kid. So was my daughter. And she's a shapely teenager, as was I. Ok.

Food for thought (pun intended).

And I wonder if Age plays a factor in this? Anyone???? I'm 40, and discovered I have a thin build, but it was only after the weight came off. Slim hips, legs, wrists, etc. Anything I could put on now for CURVES would be fat (in the boobies PLEASE) and muscle (everywhere else).

Thank you. So were YOU a slim child CiCi? How about the others that are underweight? How about our own little survey?

I didn't try to drop below my original goal weight of 230... it just seems to be the natural level where I've now settled for the past year or so.

I'm finding now that I fluctuate between a low of 201 and a high of 208 (where I'm currently at right now). It's funny... when I hit 208, my interest in food seems to really wane and I begin to drop weight. When I'm down around 201, I notice that I'm craving food more and I start eating more and then the weight starts to creep back up.

I'm not sure why I've fallen into this pattern as it sucks when my clothes (especially the low-rise jeans and athletic cut t-shirts) don't fit very well when I'm at 208.

BTW, prior to the surgery, I was extremely heavy my entire life so I'm an exception to Traci's theory.

P.S. - Love your new avatar, Traci! Does that mean I might be seeing more pics of you in my in-box soon???
