Default New Drink!

I am loving the Iced Coffee at McDonalds with the SF Vanilla! I want to say the SF is new, but I am not sure... I have been addicted to Starbucks and never went anywhere else! lol Looks like I found a good, cheaper drink!

Just be mindful of the fat grams in those.. JumboJulie posted about the fat content in the new McD's iced coffee's fairly recently and from what I remember, they're *really* high in fat.

Also.. I'd be REALLY careful when you're ordering them. I tried them twice before I realized the fat content and both times, I saw the girl put the regular syrup instead of the SF syrup in the cup and had her remake them... and this was at two different locations, so it wasn't just one careless employee.

(adding the link to Julie's post for you... I just would hate for you to unknowingly sabotage your efforts! It just sucks.. I love that stuff!)

I so agree. If you can't watch them pour it don't order it. I have had this experience at many different places.

Thanks for the thoughts. I totally understand what you mean! The small SF vanilla has 5 grams of fat, and that is from the milk.

they do, but NOT for the iced coffee. I tried to order one yesterday with non fat milk, and was informed that the sf vanilla is pre-mixed with the half & half and non-fat is not an option. also, they don't have smalls in the iced drinks - only mediums and larges... I took a couple of sips and brought it home for my DD to drink.

I ordered a small and that is what I got. Maybe different locations have different sizes? I am not sure.

Could be! I haven't seen smalls at any of the McD's around here - maybe it's a regional thing. I wish they had the small iced drinks here!

Maybe start a letter campaign to get them to offer it with skim milk?

My DS works at McD's.. (been a great job for him with school and band and all the other activities he's been involved with... always willing to work around HIS schedule!)...

I'll ask him if it is pre-mixed before they get it or if it's mixed at the store itself.
