So John.. last night ended up being the 1st of hopefully more weekly gatherings of the TT peeps! I thought it went well for our first official chat- even if you did leave me in charge! lol..
A couple of thoughts...I don't know if Flash Chat allows for this but when I was involved in IRC chats, there was the ability to set the topic at the top of the window bar so that people would know what it was.. that might save some repetition if that is an option.
And I do think having a general topic ahead of time was a good idea, so that things are more focused.. I thought having "food, post-op" was a good starting topic! Maybe announcing the topic ahead of time would draw more people in (though I suppose it could also have the opposite effect).
Perhaps toss out two or three possible topics a week/month (whichever timespan ends up working out) and taking a poll to see what is the more popular topic?
I hope others enjoyed the chats as well and if they have any other ideas to help make it run smoothly, they might want to offer them up as well.
