Jim's June Travel Plans - Lets hook up
I am starting to get tired of traveling this year. But it is a great opportunity to meet my TTF buddies.
June 10-14 - San Diego staying at the Hilton Downtown (I think). I will have a rental cars and free evenings and free friday afternoon and most of the evening (staying with the SIL and her annoying husband) on friday night - so please keep me out late.
Anyone want to hook up? (in a purely platonic fashion - of course)

You should come to Rain's support group in Oceanside, just a nice ride up the coast and a GREAT support group.

Rain's group is the first day you are here in San Diego. I would love to meet you, and I bet Michelle would, also. We are almost always available, so figure out if you want to meet up, when, and where, give a call, and we'll get to see you!
I'll pm my phone numbers
I'm gonna meet Ji-um, I'm gonna meet Ji-um

Goal! I did it!
105 pounds gone since my RNY
119 total pounds gone forever!
I finally have a "normal" BMI
Reached my first goal of 145...and setting a new one of 135.
Reached 135 and have decided to lose another five if I can.
I'm in the 130's for the first time since puberty!

Jim,
If you want to go to Rain's group on the 10th, I would be happy to pick you up at the Hilton Tuesday evening. Her groups start at 7:00 or 7:30, late enough for you to take a breath after arriving. She gives great group, and I'm sure peeps would want to meet you--you're such a delightful person! If we could get a crowd together for T-T, just think what it would be like for a real person!
Will you be flying solo, or will SWMBO be joining you? Either way, Michelle is a (proud) 3rd generation San Diegan, and knows this town better than the mayor, and we would be happy to squire you around and introduce you to the REAL San Diego (like where the tuna fishermen's families get the really fresh seafood vs a spendy restaurant where you get 3 day old seafood.) Neither one of us has major commitments other than Dr's appointments, so we could be at your service!
For that matter, the two of us know a little something about cooking , and could have you over for dinner one of the nights, we could take you to any of the many beaches in the area, some Roamy friendly, some not, on and on. If you tell us your interests, we can hook you up with them here. I'm trying hard not to sound too desperate, but we can totally match your available time/energy/desires to what is available here, where it's the best, and the best value. pm me if any of this interests you!

You guys are great. I already have a ride offer and am going to take it. So everyone knows - I was born in Hawaii, but moved to Chula Vista / IB when I was 3 months old. I consider myself a native San Diegan. Went to Chula Vista High School. Know my home town intimately. But I do want to totally hang out. Lets all plan to meet at Rains on Tuesday and see what happens. Sandy is coming to SD with me in September for the 30th HS reunion (arrgh )
