Default Look at me, I'm a home owner!

Ok, well not officially yet, but they accepted my offer. Yay! My very first home of my very own! I am very nervous, and trying not to get excited because I still have to get financed. It doesn't seem real...and talk about a load of stress! closing on the condo and getting my surgery a week later!

Oh, how wonderful. Congratulations Jen. You are still young and look at what you have accomplished and what more lies ahead of you! Way to go!

Proud of you!!! We purchased our first home at the age of 24... cost: $24,900!

Add another zero now... hahaa!

We're in the process of selling our 2nd home (in it for 32 yrs) and building a brand new one! I'm with you on the anxiety and excitement!!! It's a roller coaster ride!

Be sure to post photos, ok???

Photos will be a while. :-) I need to do some work before I move in. minor stuff, painting, a couple of new doors, new carpet, new cabinet handles...stuff like that. And lots of cleaning! I might need to reglaze the master bath's tub and retile the shower in the second bath, but time will tell. Also, funds will tell! lol depends on how much I have to work with!

Hey Jen...
Congrats!! I think that it totally rocks that you can do this on your own. Just think, you'll have your house paid off before you're 50..Now that really *is* an awesome thought.

Congrats! Home ownership is a pride and a burden.....you got in at a good time!

My first home I got at 20, at 13% interest!

Somehow, I'm in my 3rd home, and in CA too...what was I thinking of? I have 2 dogs that need space...renting isn't much of an option for the value you get.
