Okay, I'm kinda excited but scared to be excited. Today, I faxed in the last of my medical records. The review nurse looked over them and then called me and said that I can go ahead and schedule my Pshch Evaluation, My Nutritionist, and my Surgeon Appointment. I know this isn't a for sure your approved, but crap..........I WANNA GET UP AND DANCE AROUND OR SOMETHING!!

Also, I'm wondering if I will be expected to pay for all these visits up front? Since my insurance hasn't approved yet??

It really depends on your insurance. What I would do is schedule the psych eval NOW because they usually do make people pay for those. For the surgeon, I would schedule it about 3 - 4 weeks from now. To allow time for the paperwork to catch up. You should be ok.

I can't say for your insurance obviously, but so far all my visits have been covered, including the ones you mentioned. I think they usually will bill your insurance though, so even if you did end up paying the bills they will probably be delayed a bit and perhaps that will help.
